Family and early life
Bartiromo was conceived in Brooklyn, New York City on September 11, 1967. Vincent and Josephine Bartiromo, her parents are Italian-American. Her father runs a Brooklyn restaurant called Rex Manor, while her mother serves guests as a hostess.
After attending Fontbonne Hall Academy, Bay Ridge, she went on to New York University to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Economics. She is married to Jonathan Steinberg, chief executive officer of Wisdom Tree Investments. They have been together since 1999.
